Backups

Retrieval of Backups

Errors were encountered when retrieving backups or when replacing the data in the live instance with a backup, while another user was working.

If a user is working in the system while another user is trying to retrieve a backup you will now get the following message: “The system is currently in use.  Close all open connections and try again.” This was released on 14 July.

Dates

Tax Year end Date

It came to our attention that there are payroll companies with a Tax Year end date of 29/02/2021.

This will be converted to 28/02/2021 when the user accesses the payroll after the update.

eSolutions

‘Export All Infoslips’ gives a File Error 41.

If there are No employees making use of Consolidated InfoSlips, i.e. there are ONLY employees receiving Standard InfoSlips, resulting in only a Standard InfoSlip being generated then the error occurred.

IRP5 InfoSlip does not Find the File.

Reports > IRP5 Report > on the last selection screen, the IRP5 files for Standard and Consolidated for InfoSlips are selected: the following message displays: ‘File does not exist’. However, the IRP5 file generated successfully.

Subsequently, we found that the file generated but was called from the wrong place.

Flexi Fixed Information

Import

Improvements have been made to this utility.

General Ledger

Import of General Ledger Flexi Layout

When importing a Flexi General Ledger Layout, an error presented itself stating that one of the files have not uploaded. This was released on 14 July.

History Reports

EMP501 Reconciliation

Performance has been improved on this report. This was released on 14 July.

  Payroll Listing History

When the report was printed for previous months, the net salary printed the value for deductions. This was released on 28 July.

  History Payslips

When printing the User Defined Payslips, the payslips were not saved for History Payslip printing purposes.

Income Verification

  All references to Income Verification has been remove because this functionality has been discontinued.

 

On the Company Miscellaneous Screen Tab 4, the option has been disabled. On the Employee Analysis Tab, the option has been removed. The opportunity to select to participate at Start of Period has also been removed.

Payslips eMailed

  Once migrated to SBCPP, Payslips no longer eMailed.

The indicator has been removed and it is possible to eMail PDF Payslips again.

  Standard Payslips, Payslips with Hours and Balances and Loan Payslips printed to PDF did not email.

If filters were used when printing the payslips, e.g. payslips printed for a specific department only, and they were printed to PDF and the eMail option was selected then the payslip never reached the recipients. This was released on 14 July.

TERS Report

Options for Leave Income (During Shutdown).

  • UIF Remuneration was added as an option

  • Earning line exported zeroes. This was released on 10 July.

UI19 Report

Printing

  UI19 printed portrait instead of landscape. This was released on 14 July.

Termination Reason Misconduct

The Summary Report was mapping the Termination Reason ‘Misconduct’ incorrectly to ‘Constructively Dismissed’.

Gross Wage

In some instances the Gross Wage did not print for all the Pay Periods.

Year Indicator

The Year Indicator was incorrect when selecting a date in a prior year.
